We stayed at Hotel Strata for a weekend. It was an easy choice for me when I seen all of the amenities and the location is great as well. Making reservations were easy and all the information was sent to us in an email so I felt very secure about my stay. My husband and I were warmly welcomed and the check in was a breeze. We loved the room that we stayed in. The bed was so comfortable and it was a dream to relax and watch a movie on the 65 inch TV. My husband loved the heated floors and the shower! I mean everything we could have needed or wanted was provided to us for our stay. It almost made us not want to leave. We love that rolling table which was an awesome surprise. The hotel felt very safe. I cant forget they have access to pathwater refillable stations on each level. I mean how cool is that. The continental breakfast was delicious and I love the espresso machine. The Owners were kind enough to share a great place for my husband and I to adventure to on our way home! We truly enjoyed our stay and are already making plans for a trip in May, we plan on requesting the same room :)

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. We went here the night of our wedding and the experience here exceeded all of our expectations. The shower is fantastic with multiple outlets and excellent water pressure. The bed is extremely comfortable. The room is very private. When I went down to get breakfast, the owner and staff personally prepared my tray and helped me carry it to my room. They included extra sweet gifts to congratulate our wedding.

Stayed here for a group business trip with a few dozen colleagues. Wonderful staff that goes above and beyond to care for the customer. They even gifted me a box of delicious chocolate and a stuffed elephant for my birthday. Hot breakfast, 24/7 tea and coffee. Small and cozy common areas. Great room amenities for business travel, I could tell they have put a lot of thoughts into the furnishing of the room (comfortable bed, various types of iron/steamer, microwave, heated floor shower, three different shower heads to choose from, electric toilet seat, shuttle to major campus, working desk, over-bed table, automatic night light etc.) My only complaint is that the room I stayed at had a very strong chemical smell, it smelled like furniture glue or something of that sort. On the 1st day when I slept there, the smell was kind of nauseating. Later I learned to turn the AC's air circulator up and set the air purifier to maximum capacity (awesome there is an air purifier). By day 3 the smell was pretty much gone. I have no idea what was the cause, as my colleagues that stayed in other rooms didn't have the same experience. If it was caused by a new renovation, perhaps it'd be a good idea to air out the room prior to giving it to guests. Oh and there is no elevator to the second floor so if you have heavy luggage, you'll need help going up the stairs. I wish I had known this beforehand so I could prepare some small change for tipping in this regard.
