We stayed at Hotel Strata over the winter break and had a wonderful experience there. First, the location was excellent with plenty of parking space insight the courtyard. It is not easy to find that in the Bay Area. It is within walking distance to Castro Street, where you can all kinds of great restaurants. Second, when we checked in, we were greeted with a welcome bag with reusable water bottles, sleepers and a bottle of wine! Third, the breakfast was excellent and the owner Mr. Patel came to talk to us and asked for feedback. Fourth, the room was comfortable with several high tech touches, including the Toto toilet. They also have a nice outside patio areas with tables, chairs and a ping pong table. Last, when we checked out, they gave us another bag of chocolate as their appreciation for our stay. Can’t find a better place to stay in the Bay Area and will definitely come back next time.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. We went here the night of our wedding and the experience here exceeded all of our expectations. The shower is fantastic with multiple outlets and excellent water pressure. The bed is extremely comfortable. The room is very private. When I went down to get breakfast, the owner and staff personally prepared my tray and helped me carry it to my room. They included extra sweet gifts to congratulate our wedding.

Mr. Dilip, you and your Family are Amazing. When our daughter booked our rooms, I hadn't known that she told you that we were coming for my Brother's Funeral. When we first arrived, we hadn't even parked the car yet, and our room door was already wide open, ready & waiting for us. I was so impressed with how clean it was, and everything was so hi-tech, right down to the heated toilet seat! But we hadn't been in the room long, before you called to make sure everything was to our satisfaction... Then you told me how very sorry you were for our loss. I was in tears! What a thoughtful, caring gesture! The day we were checking out, you showed us a menu and made us breakfast! A lot of hotels offer a small buffet breakfast, but you had omelets, breakfast sandwiches, bacon, juice, and so much more! At breakfast, you brought over our breakfast and told us again how very sorry you were for our loss. I was in tears and jokingly said “I’m gonna give you a 5-star review.” You said, "Oh Mam, it's not about stars, it's about Family and doing the right thing." As we were packing our cars up, you came out and offered to help in any way you could. I took out one of the Memorial Brochures, telling all about my Brother's life, and gave it to you and said, "I want you to meet my Brother. He was an amazing man." You held it close to your heart and you stood outside, until we had all left. What an Honor it was to stay in your Family's Hotel. We will never forget your kindness.
