Along Hope St. visitors can find two free city lots, as well as two paid parking garages. The nearest parking garage to the farmers market is at Bryant St. and W. Evelyn Ave. There is also parking available at the Caltrain Station and along the street, though availability may be limited.
Vegetables and fruits on sale at farmers markets are often picked just hours before the market opens and therefore offer a freshness that grocery stores can't. Fruits also tend to be sweeter since they have ripened on the tree instead of in storage, resulting in a higher natural sugar content.
