About This Event

A plant-based diet is a diet consisting mostly or entirely of foods derived from plants, including vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds, legumes and fruits, and with few or no animal products. Learn about the many health benefits of a plant-based diet and get tips while getting inspired to implement more plant-based foods into your diet. We'll learn simple time-saving techniques, recipes, and ideas for incorporating more veggies and healthy alternatives. Plant-based eating can be a lot of fun and delicious so gather with friends and neighbors in a relaxed environment while learning, eating, and having fun with Wellness Coach, Katie Saleh. ---------------------------------- About the InstructorKatie Saleh is a wellness coach, cooking instructor and workshop facilitator. She holds a Master's degree in Integrative Health Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies and embodies a holistic approach to health and wellness. Katie loves all things natural, whether she's cooking with whole food ingredients, creating natural body products and oils, or spending time in nature. Her offerings focus on balancing the body, mind, spirit, and emotions. Katie is dedicated and passionate about bringing holistic health practices to the community.
