Motherload is a crowdsourced documentary about a new mother's discovery of cargo bikes as an antidote to isolation in a digital age (trailer). Join Blue Heron Bikes for a fundraising screening of this rad new documentary, benefitting local bike advocacy organization Bike East Bay. Get your tickets, make a donation, and come on down to the shop for warm community and a moving film. Bike East Bay is improving your ride through advocacy, education, and fun events. Blue Heron Bikes is a specialty bike shop dedicated to two-wheeled transport for your family, your pet, and your life. Blue Heron is proud to host this screening to support better biking in the East Bay. This film is only viewable at community screenings, and tickets are limited, so get yours now! Bring a picnic dinner and your own water bottle or cup. Supervised bike parking will be available. Bring a lock. Transportation: The shop is 1 mile along the Ohlone Greenway walking/biking path from North Berkeley BART, and walkable up Gilman St from the 72 AC Transit bus line. The shop is ADA accessible, and we request that you refrain from wearing scents or using scented products. Please contact us to request additional accommodation. Volunteer at the event and get a free entry! Ticketing volunteers will help with setup and ticketing. Food service volunteers will take turns managing snack supply.
